As a general reference, national salary data shows health coaches in the U.S. typically earning in the $50K to $75K per year range in a stable job or private practice.

From there, the ceiling rises. With more experience, a defined specialty, or a scalable model such as group programs and online courses, many coaches reach $80K to $150K or more. Certified coaches, in particular, tend to sit toward the higher end of national reported ranges. Entry-level or part-time work usually starts lower, especially when coaching hours are limited.
